Tasting Dandelions in January

I sleep naked with you
and awake so pleased

to see the white,
snow-covered lake
of my skin,

free of clothes
                       lines

and run my fingers
                             down

to where you bravely launch
your craft.

  1. have you ever launched a small boat from shore? have you ever stood ankle deep in shallow water to do this? this poem feels like this. but i have to tell you, i didn't even need the poem. the title was enough.

imagine that, giving us the title only and asking us to tell YOU what your poem is.

  3. Sorry I missed this, really I am. (Have gotten a bit buried.) Love the play on words of clothes ... lines. And the way two become one, the self and the other co-mingled.
